Never Be Boring: Present Like A Pro by Taking Adler to the World with Kevin O'Connor
Part of the 2019-2020 CAPS Webinar Series

Have you ever been invited to present a talk about your practice, or to a group of parents or teachers, or to NASAP? This webinar will help you with the skills, tactics, and techniques to make every presentation a special one. We know that beyond your resume the two things that will get you noticed and promoted are your presentation skills and your executive presence. The best presenters combine both in promoting their practice, working in a corporation, or maintaining visibility within a university…even defending their thesis!

About Kevin:

Kevin O’Connor, a fellow Adlerian, a corporate consultant, professional speaker, and an accomplished writer. As a consultant, Kevin works with individuals and teams for greater performance and satisfaction. As a professional speaker, he works with larger groups to seed new ideas in organizations. And as a writer, he is the co-author of three books on presentation skills; he blogs a bit; “tweets” occasionally, and even wrote this introduction that I’m reading! And he is a graduate of the Alfred Adler Institute of Chicago and is a licensed clinical counselor as well as a marriage and family counselor. He was born in Illinois; married a Texan, his sisters live in California and Italy. Kevin has lots of frequent flyer miles. He has three masters’ degrees and has earned the coveted “Certified Speaking Professional” – CSP – designation. Fewer than 600 people in the world hold this honor for speaking excellence. He is faculty for the American College of Healthcare Executives, The American Association for Physician Leadership and teaches graduate students at Chicago’s Loyola University. On a personal level, Kevin is working hard to learn three new skills—Spanish, Yoga, and bareback horseback riding (although he has no plans to use them all at the same time!)
