Dr. Trail is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) in the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (USPHS). As an Officer in the Public Health Service, she had the opportunity to serve at three previous Indian Health Service duty stations (Zuni Service Unit, Zuni Pueblo, NM; Alamo Navajo Service Unit, Alamo, NM; and Klamath Tribes Service Unit, Klamath Falls, OR). Her academic publications, book chapters, and presentations focus on the mental health of the LGBT community, Native Americans, and underserved populations. She is committed in her clinical work and as a Public Health Officer to work toward health equity for all citizens. She is originally from the Midwest and currently lives with her wife, and a multitude four-legged friends we have picked up along the way.
