People who have committed violent and sex offenses are often generalized as a group of risky, evil, and therefore feared individuals. These “criminals” are not a heterogeneous group, and their risk profiles differ markedly. This workshop is informed by over 30 years of experience or work with thousands of incarcerated and parole-supervised individuals in the Canadian federal corrections system and focuses on Adlerian applications to criminal behavior, crime cycle, and effective interventions aimed to reduce recidivism.
